Growth Central offers Anger Management Training Courses and Seminars for Professionals. These classes are endorsed and authorized by the National Anger Management Association (http://namass. org) for Certification as Anger Management Specialist-I, II, III, IV, V. Classes provide the skills, concepts, and techniques, and supervision for participants to be certified as Anger Management Specialist-I by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). Performance Objectives The participants will define anger, anger management, and aggression The participants will describe the human developmental perspectives as related to anger management The participants will identify the significant parts of the human brain as pertaining to anger management. The participants will define and describe the development and treatment of shame as related to anger management. The participants will identify and demonstrate how cognitive behavioral skills, concepts, and techniques pertain to anger management. The participants will describe and define an integral approach to anger management. The participants will present anger management clients for supervision by the use of an Anger Log.

Growth Central is an authorized training provider, supervisor and consultant by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA).

Course Description
This class is an approved Anger Management Specialist-I certification training by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). The seminar is open to those with a background in mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, education, corrections, law enforcement, pastoral counseling, human resources, and those who need or desire to work with angry and hostile clients. Participants in these fields may also be accepted. The seminar fulfills all the NAMA (1) basic content and (2) supervision requirements for the certification. Once you have completed this seminar you may apply directly for NAMA certification.
